There are various methods to find out if the SPF record is setup correctly and below are some tools that can be used for verification:
a) Command Prompt
Start -> Run -> cmd
Type: nslookup -q=txt domain name
And for the valid SPF record, the output should be as below:

"v=spf1 include:spf.mschosting.com -all" (Sample of valid GeIT Hosting default SPF record)

b) Checking from URL
- Open the URL http://www.kitterman.com/spf/validate.html in web browser
- Enter the domain in Domain Name field.
- Click on "Get SPF Record(if any)" button.
- The results will be displayed for the SPF record.
If there are any errors on SPF record, the results are displayed at the bottom of the page.
c) Checking from URL
- URL checkingOpen the URL http://mxtoolbox.com/spf.aspx in web browser
- Enter the domain name in the Domain Name field.
- Click on SPF Record Lookup
- The results will be displayed for the SPF record.
If there are any errors on SPF record, the error results will be displayed.
** Please be advised that any recent update on SPF record will not be reflected immediately on those checking portal as might need some time for the dns to propagate **
